Jacob Presnell

Jacob (Jake) Presnell was the Systems Administrator at the National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) from 2021 to 2023. In this role, he maintained the IT environment that supported the Center's mission and research activities. With a limited team size, Jake enjoyed bridging the gap between managerial decision making and IT solution implementation.

Prior to joining SESYNC in 2021, Jake worked for 5 years at the Network Enterprise Center at Fort Detrick, MD, overseeing data center operations and facilitating government organizations' transitioning of IT infrastructure. Jake earned his bachelor’s degree in Security & Risk Analysis from the Pennsylvania State University.
