Abstract
The article presents a case study of resilience of social-ecological system of the Columbia River Basin to climate change. Topics discussed include resilience assessment of the Columbia Basin, international Columbia River Treaty between the United States and Canada focused on cooperative development of the River Basin's water resources, and nine properties of resilience proposed by scientists Brian Walker and David Salt. It mentions ecosystem services for the Basin such as water quality regulation.
