Abstract
The article presents a case study on adaptive water governance systems of the Anacostia River Basin located in Mid Atlantic Region of the U.S for the purpose of social-ecological resilience. Topics discussed include resilience of the Anacostia River Basin, the Institutional-Social-Ecological Dynamics (ISED) framework focused on the dynamics of ecosystems and assessment of social-ecological resilience in watersheds and changes in the watershed. It mentions the concept of watershed management.
